Paul Kruger statue not on fire
A video was shared across social media platforms showing the Paul Kruger statue burning.
Social media is ablaze with a video seemingly portraying a burning Paul Kruger statue on Church Square today.
The source of the video is currently unknown but Tshwane Metro Police Isaac Mahamba strongly denied that the content of the video holds any truth.
“I am here as we speak, there is no burning statue.”
This comes despite reports on social media indicating that a petrol bomb was thrown at the statue.
