Robbers strike again at The Grove Mall
Robbers escape with jewellery of an unknown amount .
Armed men robbed a jewellery store at The Grove Mall in the early hours of Friday morning.
The Grove Mall spokesperson, Pierre Botha, confirmed four to five men had gained entrance to the mall before opening time.
The NWJ Fine Jewellery store was robbed and an unknown amount in value of jewellery was taken.
“No one was injured, as it happened before the mall opened its doors to the public.”
This robbery comes a few days after armed robbers had targeted another store inside the mall.
On Sunday two armed robbers stole Telkom products, after shop attendants were held at gunpoint.
“The safety of our clients and staff is of utmost importance to us,” said Botha.
“Our security is on high alert and we ask our shoppers to report any suspicious persons or activities.”
