Ten Pretoria-based players will take on Senegal as part of the Bafana Bafana squad on Saturday.
The 2018 World Cup qualifier match will take place at the Peter Mokaba stadium, Polokwane.
Both Supersport United and Mamelodi Sundowns have been playing well recently, leaving no surprise that coach Shakes Mashaba picked five players from each team.
The backline consists of the ever consistent Clayton Daniels and Downs duo Asavela Mbekile and Tebogo Langerman.
Another interesting combination will be in the middle between Hlompho Kekana and Dean Furman. Both players have been instrumental in ensuring that their clubs triumph this year.
A surprise inclusion is no doubt that of Netherland-born player Lars Veldwijk, who is yet to make his debut for Bafana.
The 25-year-old only arrived in SA this week and will be eager to impress upfront, given the national team’s goals drought.
Another surprise call-up was Matsatsantsa striker Bradley Grobler.
Although not a prolific scorer, his heading ability, strength and height will be vital against the big West Africans.
He already scored four goals this season, including a well-placed header against Pirates last week in their 6-1 win.
