Metro police recover stolen vehicle
The vehicle was tracked and found abandoned in Pretoria West.
A stolen vehicle was recovered on Friday after it was taken during a house robbery.
During a Tshwane metro police department (TMPD) operation, officials responded to a distress call about a house robbery in the Rosslyn area, north of Pretoria, in the early morning hours.
“They (officials) were told to be on the lookout for two identical white BMW X4 vehicles that were taken during the robbery,” TMPD said in a statement.
“Tracker personnel informed them that they picked up a signal of one of the vehicles in Pretoria West. The TMPD officers then rushed there to look for the vehicle and they located it in Court Street.”
