Man nabbed in trap
The victim said he could identify him and the trap was formulated.
The swift and sure action of a security firm led to the arrest of man wanted for a robbery, assault and drug dealing.
The CSI security tactical team arrested the culprit behind the Newlands Spar in the east of Pretoria.
Spokesperson Theo Breedt said a man was assaulted and robbed of his phone in the area on Thursday night.
The bruised victim was found by the security firm officers.
He said the man told the officers that he recognised the perpetrator and could locate him.

“The tactical team on Friday set up a trap for the attacker behind the Newlands Spar were the man was believed to be,” said Breedt.
“The trap was set for the perpetrator believed to be a drug dealer.”
The victim recognised him as he made an appearance behind the shopping complex.
Breedt said the man was arrested around 16:30 and handed to police.
Police were still to confirm the arrest.
