Local karatekas make Gauteng champs

A group of karatekas in Pretoria West recently qualified to represent Pretoria in the provincial championships.
The 10, of Pretoria West Best Karate, qualified for the championships after winning South Africa’s Japan Karate Association regional championships in Pretoria last Saturday.
Gauteng will showcase their skills and talent during the Gauteng provincial championship scheduled for next year.
Sensei Eddie Cordier said he was proud of his students.

Cordier said his karatekas were between six and 20.
