Police stumped by unidentified six
“A seven year old child was airlifted to hospital amongst the six critically injured.”
Five people and a child remain unidentified in hospital after their taxi recently rolled en route to Mamelodi.
Police urged the public to come forward to help identify the six people and a child.
Five people died when a taxi carrying 12 passengers hit a Mahindra bakkie and rolled on 6 January on the N4.
The other six passengers were taken to hospital.

Silverton police spokesperson Captain Jan Sepato said a seven-year-old child was among the injured and was airlifted to hospital.
Six people were in a critical condition in hospital and a seventh one suffered a leg injury.
Sepato said the families of the five had come forward to identify the bodies.
“We can confirm, all five bodies were identified by their immediate families.”
The other seven victims remained in Wilgers and Steve Biko hospitals.

Sepato said Detective Constable Matumba at the Silverton police station had more information on the injured people.
