Woman seriously hurt in robbery
“A group of assailants approached her, demanding her jewellery.”
An elderly woman suffered serious injuries in an armed robbery inside
a Woodmead office park recently.
Emer-G-Med said this happened around 14:00 on Wednesday.
“The victim, aged 65, was hit with a firearm when a group of
assailants approached her and demanded her jewellery.”

Emer-G-Med said woman sustained multiple facial fractures and required
advanced life support intervention.
“Once stable, paramedics transported the woman to a nearby specialist
trauma hospital for further management,” it said in a statement.
“The police were on the scene to investigate and explore any leads.”
