Two burglars were arrested after a shootout with police and security firms on Wednesday.
The burglary took place in Clubview, Centurion.
ADT reaction officers Samson Makgoba and Kabeloa Kati and police responded to the burglary in Fredericks Avenue around 14:00.

ADT officer Isaac Sekoalelo said officials were alerted to the burglary thanks to a tip-off from residents.
Sekoalelo said ADT and police arrived at the house and found the two culprits still in the yard.
“One of the suspects took out a gun and started shooting at police and our officers,” said Sekoalelo.

Police and ADT returned fire.
“Fortunately, no one was injured during the rapid fire exchange.”
The men were arrested and taken to the Wierdabrug police station.
Wierdabrug police were still to confirm the arrest at the time of going to print.
