The police are still looking for two men who hijacked a delivery crew in Atteridgeville on Tuesday.
Pretoria West police spokesperson Constable Mandlakayise Zwane said the hijacking took place at Masupye Street around 17:00.
“The 59-year-old man and his crew were driving a white VVT Toyota delivery bakkie when they were stopped by two armed men,” he said.
“The two suspects pointed them with firearms and forced them out of their bakkie and drove off with it.”
Zwane said the bakkie carried items valued at R120 000.

“Inside the bakkie was a Samsung double door fridge and washing machines.”
The registration number of the bakkie is SYF 881 GP.
Zwane said no arrests had yet been made and the investigation continued.
“We appeal to the community to come forth with any information that may lead to the identification and arrest of these suspects, to call Atteridgeville SAPS on 012-373-2400 or Crime Stopon 08600-10111.”
