A man was caught with burglary tools in his possession on the roof of a house in Waterkloof recently.
The man injured his head earlier as he was running away from a security official.
CSI security operations manager Nico Mans said an alert from a patrol officer came in around 02:49 on Friday.
The information was about five men jumping fences.

Mans said officials responded and chased the five men.
The men were cornered in Main Street where they opened fire on the officials.
A shootout ensured and the fugitives resumed their running.
“One of the them fell while jumping a fence and hurt his head.”
He was found on the roof of a residence and handed to police.
Mans said the other four men got away.
