“The kids were found dead on the bed by their father a week ago. Rat poison was found next to the bed, which is believed to have been used to kill them.”
Moremi said when speaking to the police in the holding cells, the woman said she used the rat poison to kill her kids and also attempted to kill herself by also taking the same poison.
“She poured poison in the food during breakfast and they all ate the food. She was surprised to survive the poison and decided to run away to Belabela, where she stayed at the park for two days.”

“They told her that she was reported missing and that it would be better to hand herself to the police.”
Her brother and his family accompanied her to Temba police, where she was detained.
