Four men have been arrested for the Soshanguve supermarket in robbery on Thursday late afternoon.
Police spokesperson Constable Herman Moremi said the four, aged between 23 and 26, were arrested around 17:00 following the robbery in Eersterust, Hammanskraal .

“The men committed business robbery at Wisane Supermarket in Soshanguve at 13:30 and fled the scene in a white Renault,” said Moremi.
It is alleged that the four men entered the supermarket, one of them pointed a firearm at the owner and demanded cash.
“They took an undisclosed amount of cash, packages of washing powder and one cellphone,” he said.
The owner gave the police the Renault’s number plate which was immediately announced on police radio.
“During patrols, Temba police came across the vehicle at Eersterust with the robbers inside,” said Moremi.

“One firearm and ammunition, packages of washing powder and money were recovered.”
The men are expected in the Moretele Magistrate’s Court in Hammanskraal soon to face a business robbery and possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition charges.
