“There’s nothing new at this stage. No leads, no arrests, but we still urge residents to assist with any information that could help in our investigations.”
The man was allegedly raped several times and dumped in a field in Benoni a few weeks ago.
According to the 23-year-old man’s statement to the police, he was in a taxi to town when he was apparently drugged and later woke up in an unfamiliar room with the three women.
“One of the women allegedly injected him with an unknown substance and he passed out and woke up in an unknown room on a single bed where three female suspects then allegedly forced him to take an energy drink‚ before taking turns raping him numerous times,” Weilbach said.
She urged men to come forward and report similar crimes.
