Another body has been found in the bushes in Bosplaas, Hammanskraal, the police have confirmed.
The discovery on Monday, brought to three the number of bodies found there in three months.
Police spokesperson Constable Herman Moremi said the body of a man aged between 30 and 40 was found by a cattle herder near a river.
“The cattle herder immediately rushed back to the village to ask for help,” said Moremi.
“Community members then contacted the police.”

When the police arrived at the scene they found the decomposed body.
The unknown man was wearing blue jeans over a pair of khaki trousers.
“The colour of his T-shirt was not clear due to the state the body was found in [decomposition],” said Moremi.
An inquest was opened for further investigation.
“At this moment we don’t know the cause of death because it is not easy to identify the body because of its status.”
Recently, police exhumed the body of Sherly Lekalakala (62) who was allegedly murdered and buried in a shallow grave at Bosplaas.
His remains were exhumed after a man handed himself over to the police after disclosing he had assisted the victim’s wife conceal the body.
A week before, the police discovered the body of an unknown man with a gunshot wound in the same bush.
Moremi said the body was found by security guards patrolling the railway line in Bosplaas.

He said it appeared the victim was shot in Carousel View and had crossed the railway line to Bosplaas, where he died.
“He managed to walk for about 10m before he collapsed,” said Moremi.
The motive for all the killings was unknown but the police investigation continued.
“We appeal to residents to assist with information that could help us identify the bodies,” said Moremi.
