Body found in Mabopane yet to be identified

The body was found between Pdi Retail Water and Itsoseng Phase 1 on 2 July.

A man’s body found in the bushes in Itoseng, Mabopane at the beginning of the month has not yet been identified.

Police spokesperson Captain Rheineth Motlana said the body was found between Pdi Retail Water and Itsoseng Phase 1 on 2 July.

“The deceased was between 20 and 28 years old. He was wearing grey trousers, a stripped black and white shirt and a greyish top.”

Motlana said the deceased was taken to the government mortuary.

She said a case of murder was being investigated.

Police are appealing to anyone with information that might assist in tracing the next of kin or lead to the arrest of the perpetrators to contact Detective Warrant Officer Mile on 078-122-2226 on Crime Stop on 0860-010111 or send an SMS 32211.
