An elderly couple was found dead at their home in Hercules on Wednesday morning.
Police spokesperson Captain Agnes Huma said the man (87) and his wife (83) were found by their domestic worker around 06:00.

The worker then contacted the Hercules SAPS.
“Upon arrival, police discovered the couple had sustained bullet wounds to their heads,” said Huma.
“A firearm was also found on scene.”
Huma said the motive behind the killing was unknown.
She said the police were investigating.
