Police detectives are still on the hunt for several people responsible after the bodies of at least six people were found in Hammanskraal recently.
Police spokesperson Constable Herman Moremi said a task team was put together to investigate the murders and that the search for more people was continuing.
“It is believed that more suspects were involved and police are still following further leads,” said Moremi.
On 12 June, a man was found bound with several gunshot wounds to his upper body.
The man, identified as Vincent Nkale (22), had been reported missing a week ago.

Nkale was found in a veld in Mathabe village in Hammanskraal.
“The deceased had serious injuries, including a gunshot wound in the upper body. Emergency medical services declared him dead [on the scene],” said Moremi.
He said Nkale’s hands and feet were tied with white cables.
He was identified by his father, who also indicated he had lived in Kekana Gardens.
Nkale was reported missing on 13 July.

He had left home to transport workers from milling company Chilong, north of Pretoria, to their respective homes.
Nkale never returned.
On 3 June another body was found with a gunshot wound in Hammanskraal.
“He was found on the side of the road with a bullet wound in his upper body,” said Moremi.
A week before, Moremi said, a man in his late 20s was found dead along the railway line in Bosplaas.
Moremi said security guards patrolling the railway line had discovered the body.

On Saturday12 August, a body of a woman aged between 25 and 30 was found dumped under a bridge in Hammanskraal.
The body was found under the bridge in the Tshwane river near Maubane in Temba by a passerby who alerted the police.
“She was found with stab wounds in her upper body,” said Moremi.
He said the police were still hunting for the woman’s killers.
Moremi said three bodies recently recovered in Hammanskraal remained unidentified.
