A man is in a serious condition after he was shot at a tavern in Eersterust on Sunday.
Necare 911 spokesperson Nick Dollman said the 32-year-old was shot in Floksie Road around 10:30.
“Upon arrival, paramedics found the man to be in a serious condition after he was shot more than once,” said Dollman.

He said Liberty was stabilised on the scene and taken to hospital by a Tshwane Emergency Services ambulance, under the care of a Netcare 911 paramedic.
Dollman said according to witnesses the victim had been involved in an altercation with another man before he was shot.

“The exact circumstances surrounding the incident and preceding events will form part of a police investigation.”
According to residents, the victim is believed to be Glenwynne Boetros Liberty.
