Four men were arrested after they hijacked a vehicle in Lotus Gardens on Monday.
Police spokesperson Captain Agnes Huma said the four men aged between 18 and 24, appeared Pretoria Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday for carjacking.
“The victim said he was parking his car on the side of the road in Lotus Gardens when four men approached him. One suspect pointed him with a firearm and forced him out of the vehicle. The four men drove off with the man’s vehicle.”

Huma said police were informed and followed up the information on the suspects’ whereabouts.
“They were found in possession of the hijacked car in West Park.
“Through investigations, it was found that three of the suspects have several cases against them that happened around Tshwane cluster for carjacking and theft,” he said.
Cluster commander Lieutenant-General Tommy Mthombeni congratulated the members for their hard work.
