An apparent hijacking accomplice was shot and killed by his victim Friday night at the Christiaan de Wet Road and Rinyani Street intersection, Roodepoort Northsider reported.
The victim allegedly opened fire on three men who attempted to hijack him.
One of the suspects died at the scene while another died on his way to hospital.
The third alleged suspect was believed to be wounded, but managed to escape.
