A 28-year-old man was kidnapped, assaulted and raped in the Pretoria CBD for three days.
Pretoria Central police media liaison officer Sergeant Tsietsi Lamola said a man has been arrested in connection with the attack.
“It is alleged the victim was captured in Sandton and brought to Pretoria. A case of rape, kidnapping and assault is under investigation by a family violence child protection and sexual offences unit,” said Lamola.

A 30-year-old man is expected to appear in court in connection with the attack that took place from 3 to 6 September.
A total of 29 other lawbreakers were nabbed at the weekend for various crimes ranging from public drinking, assault, drunken driving, possession of a dangerous weapon, theft out of motor vehicles and drug possession.
Those arrested are expected to appear in the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court during the course of this week.
