Mooikloof and Onbekend residents should have power by 16:00 on Wednesday according to the Tshwane metro.
On Monday, fire had broken out at the Mooikloof substation interruption power supply those areas.
Metro spokesperson Selby Bokaba said the cause of the fire was unknown.

“The team is currently busy with trenching, and cable repair work and it is anticipated power supply will be restored by 16:00.
Also, repairs to a cable fault at the Wingate substation in Elarduspark are underway. The technical team managed to isolate the fault and restored supply to some areas that had experienced an interruption,” he said.
The Wingate substation supplied Boneschans, Mansvelt, Boekhorst, Gymnasium, which were still without power on Wednesday afternoon.
