A Winterveldt woman who was reported missing ten years ago has still not been found.
Sibongile ‘Bobo’ Bodiba went missing in 2007. She was 37 years old at the time.
Her family and police have followed all possible leads without any success.

The missing woman’s mother, Lebogang Bodiba told Rekord this week that each year her family celebrates her birthday, hoping that she is still alive and will return home to them.
“We live in hope and prayer. We have not seen or heard anything from her since her disappearance,” said her mother.
Police spokesperson Captain Samuel Sebola said police have not received any fresh information on her whereabouts.
“Normally a missing person case is closed after six months. However, police can reopen a case if a new lead emerges later,” said Sebola.
Her mother said the family has been asking for help from community members since 2007.
Her family’s resolve has been tested over the past 10 years with false leads and unsuccessful searches. Now they are not sure if they will ever see her again.
“Some people told us she was seen in Soshanguve, others said she was spotted in Rooiwaal … but we are not sure if there’s any truth to the rumours,” she said.
Bodiba says her family is frustrated and desperately searching for answers.
“It’s a hard day, very hard,” Bobo’s sister Ntombi Bodiba said.
“The past 10 years have been almost like a nightmare.”

Not a day goes by without the family thinking about Bobo, she said. Her three children – two girls and a boy – also had to grow up without a mother.
Ntombi said the family was not giving up hope and they prayed Bobo will be found.
At the time of her disappearance, Bobo had short dreadlocks.
