Mamelodi East police are investigating the suspected murder of a man whose body was discovered near Heatherly dumping site in Nellmapius extension 24.
The body was found behind a heap of rubble on Wednesday morning.

It was discovered by a recycler scavenging for scraps at the dumping site.
The victim is thought to be in his late 20’s to early 30’s. He was half-naked, wearing only a red T-shirt.
The police are appealing to the community for any information about the victim’s identity, or any other leads to assist them in the investigation.
Residents are advised to avoid isolated areas, especially after dark.
