A woman was bound and robbed in Irene on Monday evening.
The woman was walking her dogs along Jan Smuts Avenue near Twin Rivers Estate when two men approached her.
According to a source, the two men tied the woman up and took her car keys.

“The security guard at the estate saw what was happening and called her husband,” the source old Rekord.
ER24 spokesperson Russell Meiring said ER24 arrived at the scene and treated her there.

“We transported her by ambulance to the hospital,” Meiring said.
Lyttleton police spokesperson Captain Dave Miller said they were unaware of the incident.
“We are not aware of any attack in the vicinity of the Smuts house area,” he said.

Miller said he would look into the case.
