A total of 13 people were arrested for various crimes in operations in Laudium and Erasmia on Wednesday.
Erasmia police spokesperson Constable Tumisang Moloto said the operations were joint efforts with the Tshwane metro police, customs officials and Icasa.

“The arrests were for possession of dagga, traffic offences and selling liquor without a licence. Counterfeit goods were confiscated after business owners failed to produce required documents during the raid.
Moloto said the operations were aimed at curbing criminal activity and raising police visibility.
“ Stop and searches were conducted on the R55 and M26 roads as well.”
