Another operation in the east

Security companies and the police had an anti-crime operation in the east of Pretoria.

This happened in Menlyn, Brooklyn and Menlo Park on Friday.

Brinant Security said the objective was to boost police visibility, stop and searches vehicles, find illegal foreigners and stop the sale of drugs.

The group said the operation was coordinated by the Brooklyn police, Brinant Security Group, CSI SA Security, Fidelity ADT and Hi-Risk Unit.
