This function gave learners the opportunity to grow and mature.

Mr and Miss Hoërskool Akasia hosted Mr and Miss Akasia on 20 September. This function gave learners the opportunity to grow and mature. They got a chance to become involved with the community, to become a voice with a purpose, to gain confidence and to meet new people. These learners worked very hard to make this event memorable. The finalists raised R30 000 in cash and products for charity. The learner who raised the most was Tintswalo Maswanganye, who also received the title of Charity Ambassador.
