Three people were caught with drugs in their possession in Lyttelton on Tuesday morning.
The drugs had an estimated value of R15 000 and possibly included cocaine, cat, crystal meth, ecstasy and acid.
Police spokesperson Captain Dave Miller said the culprits’ vehicle was identified during an intelligence-driven operation.
“The vehicle was stopped and searched,” said Miller.

The drugs were found in a hidden compartment at the rear passenger door.
Miller said the drugs would be sent to a laboratory for testing.
“The suspects will appear in a magistrate’s court within 48 hours with charges related to the possession of drugs and drug trafficking.”
