Shots were fired and a woman was hijacked when a petrol station in the north of Pretoria was robbed in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Four armed robbers arrived in a blue Polo at the BP garage on Sefako Makgatho Drive (Zambezi Drive) at 03:00 according to Sinoville police station commander Colonel Maria Roberts.
At least one of them had a R5 machine gun.

Roberts said a total of seven shots were fired, but no one was injured.
“They broke out two drop safes and got away with an undisclosed amount of money,” she added.
The suspects also hijacked a woman in a BMW when making their getaway.

“She was dropped off further on,” Roberts said.
No arrests have been made.
“Police are hunting for the suspects,” she said.
