Mamelodi church donates food parcels
Local church gives learners food to enjoy with their parents over the festive season.
A Mamelodi church has donated food parcels to local primary school kids to enjoy with their families during the festive season.
Holy Ghost Church of all Nation made the donation to over 50 families at Emthunzini Primary School on Wednesday.
The families walked away carrying 12.5kg mealie meal, 12,5kg flour, 10kg rice and 1kg of washing powder.
Church leaders apostle Diana Sindane and pastor Florence Makgafola said they had been used to bless the families.
“The Lord looks after the needy – orphans and the widows,” said the women.

The church had been donating school uniforms to the school since 2009.
“God gave us the strength to collect the money used to buy the uniforms.
The congregants and teachers identified the learners most desperately in need during a visit to the school recently.
Sindane said the church would continue to give to the learners and their parents as long they were able to do so.
School representative Thoko Thindisa thanked the church for the donation, and said it had played a key role in the learners scoring good grades.
“That the learners did well in the exams is testament to the Lord’s work.”
