SPORT: Moshate cup continue to grow
The rugby tournament is aimed at improving rugby in Pretoria townships and also supporting underprivileged children.
The 2018 Moshate rugby festival was bigger and better than ever on Saturday, organisers said.
The festival, which is held at the St Albans College in Pretoria, sees children from four different townships display their rugby skills.

St Albans rugby director and coach Kennedy Tsimba said he was happy with the effort the boys have put into going to the finals.
“It all began during the week of 25 – 29 June when an academic and rugby skills camp was held,” he said.
“The teams involved played in the knockout rounds to determine who will be in the finals.”
More than 700 people attended the event, he said.
Atteridgeville defeated Mamelodi 20-5 in the final; while Eersterust won the plate final, thus finishing third overall.
“This festival has grown over the past three years,” said Tsimba.
Tsimba thanked their three key sponsors, namely Standard Bank, MTN and Allianz Insurance.
“They all contributed to making this the biggest festival to date.”
“We are positive that the future of this initiative is in good hands,” he said.
