Two employees of Mystic Monkeys and Feathers Wildlife Park, north of Pretoria were arrested last week following the killings of six lions.
The six lions were poisoned and then mutilated in June last year.
Owner of the wildlife park Christa Saayman said the two men were arrested on Thursday and appeared briefly in the Bela Bela Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
“The case has been postponed to 20 February for profiling both accused. They remain in custody until their next court appearance, “she said.

Saayman thanked Sergeant Edwin Ramaoka from Limpopo Endangered Species Unit for making sure the duo were nabbed.
It was believed the lions were killed for muti.
Limpopo provincial police could not be reached for comment.
