Police are still looking for assailants involved in the shooting and killing of an Atteridgeville taxi owner.
The 43-year-old was shot two weeks ago while sitting inside his vehicle in front of the gate of his home, said police spokesperson Captain Augustinah Selepe.
“It is alleged that a Toyota Quantum stopped next to his car, whereafter five men got out of that taxi and started shooting at him.”
Selepe said the motive behind the shooting was still unknown.
“We appeal to residents to assist the police with information to be able to succeed in apprehending the suspects,” she said.
