Police are looking for a group of men after cash-in-transit security officers were robbed of money in Laudium on Saturday.
Police spokesperson Colonel Brenda Muridili said the incident took place at 11:30 when security officers were collecting money at the Laudium square.
“The officers were approached by armed men,” she said.

“They [the armed men] took the firearm of one of the officers, grabbed the money and took off.”
Modirili said no shots were fired and no injuries were reported.
This is the third cash-in-transit robbery in Pretoria in three days.
On Thursday, two cash-in-transit guards were robbed on their way to load cash at an ATM at Temba City Complex, north of Pretoria.
The two were approached by three heavily armed men.

“The suspects pointed the firearms at the guards before taking their weapons,” she said.
The suspects took an undisclosed amount of money.
Police are appealing to anyone with information to contact their nearest police station.
