The investigation into the disappearance of a missing Orchards man has continued into the fourth month of his going missing.

“We’re still investigating,” Akasia police spokesperson Lindiwe Mdluli said.

This after Tiro Skosana was last seen and heard from by his family at Easter.

Previously, Mdluli reassured the family police were doing their “utmost” to reunite him with his family.

Skosana’s mother Gladys Skosana reported she last saw him leaving for Gezina where he was to buy car parts.

“His friend told us he was with Tiro at around 16:00 or 17:00 when he left his flat,” Skosana told Rekord last month.

In May, Skosana said she was growing increasingly worried about the possibility that her son might be dead.

“I can’t bury my son, he was to be the one to bury me,” she told Rekord this week.

The distraught mother pleaded with anyone who might have abducted her 23-year-old son to return him safely.

“Please, can they just bring back my son,” she said.
