WEATHER: Thundershowers expected in Pretoria this evening

The storms are expected to die down with the next two hours, SA Weather Service said.

Isolated thunderstorms are expected in parts of Pretoria in the next hour or so, the SA Weather Service revealed on Friday afternoon.

Forecaster Mbavhi Maliage said a 30% chance of rain was predicted in the late afternoon to evening.

“Nothing severe expected in parts of Gauteng, but we will be on the lookout for any severe developments,” she said.

Maliage said she expected the thunderstorms to die in the next two hours.

For Saturday, we could expect afternoon thundershowers with maximum temperatures peaking at 33°C , she said.
