Three house robbers target north
Police urged the public to be on the lookout for and to report the whereabouts of the suspected house robbers to the Sinoville police station.
Sinoville police asked the community to come forward with any information they might have about the whereabouts of three men wanted in connection with a spate of house robberies in the north of Pretoria.
“They are wanted with house break-ins in Doornpoort,” said police spokesperson Warrant Officer Johan van Dyk.
The men were also linked to one or two house break-in cases reported in Magalieskruin.
“House break-ins have increased since we moved to the new level 3 of the lockdown and the suspects were linked to various crimes reported in the area.”
He urged the public to be on the lookout for and to report the whereabouts of the suspected house robbers to the Sinoville police station.

“They should, however, not be confronted,” Van Dyk cautioned.
He reminded members of the public be careful and to always be aware of their surroundings.
“It is important to make sure your doors are locked and your property secured,” he added.
Van Dyk also urged the community to join local community policing forums to help combat crime in the area.
Another area recently hit by petty crime are the small holdings in Haakdoornboom in the north of Pretoria sector 3.
Over the past weekend, various properties were targeted in this area, according to Pretoria North Sector 3 CPF chairperson Cobie Jansen van Rensburg.
