Parts of east still without power
System operators struggle to restore power due to high load.
A power outage at the Wapadrand substation affected Equestria, Wapadrand, Mamelodi and surrounding areas since Tuesday evening.
The Tshwane metro said that the system operators attending to the matter struggled to restore power due to high load, as Pretoria was hit by cold weather.
“Panel B1 was switched back, but another for Equestria is still affected. A team has been dispatched to attend to this matter,” the Tshwane metro tweeted.

The city also said they were attending to outages affecting most parts of Mamelodi and Nellmapius.
No estimated time of repair was given.
