Warmer temperatures on the way for Pretoria

Since last week, parts of the country were affected by the cold temperatures with Gauteng temperatures plunging into the minus range.

Pretoria residents can breathe a sigh of relief with temperatures expected to gradually increase, following an intense cold front.

Since last week, parts of the country were affected by the cold temperatures with Gauteng temperatures plunging into the minus range.

From Friday onwards, temperatures will start to pick up, said SA Weather Service forecaster Bransby Bulo.

“For Thursday, we are looking at a maximum of 15°C. For Friday, temperatures are expected to be between 3°C and 19°C,” he said.

Bula said clear skies were expected for Saturday.

“Temperatures are expected to reach a minimum of 3°C and a maximum of 21°C.

“On Sunday, we are expecting clear skies with a maximum of 20°C. Overall, expect chilly mornings, with temperatures gradually picking in the afternoons,” Bula said.
