Pretoria Covid-19 daily cases third lowest in province
Only about 118 positive cases were recorded on Tuesday.

Pretoria Covid-19 daily cases were the third lowest in the province on Tuesday, as the capital city continues to record a downward trend in daily cases this week.
On Tuesday, the region recorded about 118 new cases according to statistics published by the department of health.
On Monday, there were about 217 new cases and Sunday saw about 445 cases.
The total number of Covid-19 cases stood at 40 593 with 28 827 recoveries and 584 recorded deaths thus far.

The breakdown was as follows:
Tshwane 40 593 cases breakdown:
– City of Tshwane 1: Ga-Rankuwa, Mabopane, Winterveldt, Soshanguve, Rosslyn, Karen Park, Wonderboom, Akasia, Nina Park, Orchards, Amandasig, Theresa Park, Pretoria North (8 945 cases and 6 534 recoveries);
– City of Tshwane 2: Hammanskraal, Temba, Suurman, Dilopye, Stinkwater, Ramotse, New Eersterust, Kameeldrift, Pyramid/Rooiwal, Doornpoort, Kekana Gardens, Marokolong, Randstown, Kanana (2 910 cases and 1 652 recoveries);
– City of Tshwane 3: Atteridgeville, Laudium, Pretoria CBD, Hercules, Danville, Saulsville, Lotus Gardens, Pretoria West (12 592 cases and 10 760 recoveries);
– City of Tshwane 4: Lyttelton, Eldoraigne, Waterkloof, Olievenhoutbosch, Rooihuiskraal, Centurion, Brooklyn, Hatfield (6 420 cases and 4 159 recoveries);
– City of Tshwane 5: East Lynne, Rayton, Cullinan, Dewagensdrift, Refilwe, Silverton, Onverwacht (879 cases and 446 recoveries);
– City of Tshwane 6: Eersterust, Lethabong, Mamelodi, Silver Lakes, Garsfontein, Lynnwood, Queenswood, Wilgers, Waltloo, Equestria, Mooikloof, Brummeria (7 714 cases and 4 699 recoveries); and
– City of Tshwane 7: Ekangala, Sokhulumi, Dark City, Zithobeni, Bronkhorstspruit, Kanana, Rethabiseng (1 020 cases and 577 recoveries).
In the Tshwane district, the department reported 113 unallocated cases.
