Centurion man airlifted to hospital after smallholding shooting
“A case of attempted murder is being investigated.”

A man in his 70s was airlifted to hospital after being shot outside his smallholding in Geradsville, Centurion on Saturday evening.
Police spokesperson Constable Sibongile Vuma said the incident took place around 21:50, when the man was opening his garage.
“He was shot at the Grove and about three suspects fled the scene as his wife was opening the door,” she said.
“Nothing was taken and a case of attempted murder is being investigated.” No arrests have been made.
Netcare911 spokesperson Shaun Herbst said the man sustained critical injuries and was stabilized on the scene before being airlifted to the Milpark hospital.
Vuma urged anyone with information to contact their nearest police station and could so anonymously.
