A business owner in Soshanguve was recovering after he was shot and injured by two men who posed as customers on Friday.
“The shop owner is receiving medical treatment at Dr George Mukhari academic hospital after he was shot in the leg by two unknown males,” police spokesperson Sergeant Matsobane Mabusela said, adding they were investigating a case of attempted murder.
The shooting was understood to have taken place in the man’s butchery in extension 6.
“It is alleged that two armed suspects ordered meat from the store owner. As he was preparing the order he realised both his “customers” were armed.
He then tried to run away for his safety,” Mabusela said.
