West suspects arrested for unlicensed firearm
The firearm was hidden in a laptop bag.

Four suspects were arrested on Thursday, for the possession of an unlicensed firearm in Danville, West of Pretoria.
Pretoria West police spokesperson Constable Sibongile Vuma said they received information from a resident about a suspect that was in possession of a firearm.
“Upon arrival, the suspect was found at his house with the firearm in a hidden laptop bag claiming that it did not belong to him but to his friend who lives across the street,” said Vuma.

Vuma said the premises were searched and three suspects, between the ages of 30 and 32, were arrested.
She said the suspects will soon appear in the Pretoria magistrate’s court.
“We as the South African Police Service call upon anyone that is aware of suspects being in possession of firearms and ammunition to report to their local police station,” said Vuma.
