Two people were shot and killed under unknown circumstances in Rooihuiskraal on Wednesday afternoon.
They were certified dead at the scene upon the arrival of Community Emergency Response Team SA (Cert-SA) paramedics.
Monitor Net security spokesperson JP le Roux said the duo were reportedly repairing a vehicle when they were shot and killed by unidentified assailants.
Meanwhile, Cert-SA spokesperson Ruan Heyns said one was shot and killed in the street while the other was shot and killed in the driveway.
“The white vehicle involved in the shooting was understood to have had four occupants.
“The motive for the killings would be subject to police investigation,” he said.
Wierdabrug police were yet to comment.
