The Gauteng law enforcement agencies were tightening the grip on illegal and non-compliant liquor outlets.

A combined total of 20 illegal and non-compliant liquor outlets were shut down across the province over the weekend, with three liquor outlets being in the streets of Atteridgeville in Pretoria.
