North cops issue look out for vehicle linked to business robberies
Earlier this month, a drastic increase in the business robbery crime category had been recorded since August.
Pretoria North police have issued an alert for a car believed to be linked to business robberies in the precinct.
Spokesperson Sergeant Tsakani Miyen said the vehicle was a silver-grey Volkswagen Polo with registration plate FH 19 NH GP.
“The vehicle also has a black star mark on the driver’s side,” she said.
Miyen explained the occupants of the car were “terrorising” the Pretoria North and Hercules neighbourhoods.
“The car has been linked to several business robberies,” she said.
Members of the public were urged to contact the Pretoria North police on 012 353 5666/8 if they spotted the car.
Earlier this month, Miyen said a drastic increase in the business robbery crimes category had been recorded since August.
It was the third time an increase in the crime category was recorded this year.

Electronics stores, at the time, were said to have been the latest targets of criminals operating in the Pretoria North policing precinct.
The perpetrators were reportedly targeting cellphone and laptop shops.
According to Miyen, cellphones, laptops and money were stolen.
