“There’s a lot of talented people out there but they do not know how to get exposure. So I decided to create a platform where people can bring their art and just show it to the public.
“This will give them exposure and challenge them to do more stuff. They can then sell their stuff, especially now during this
lockdown.”

Anderson said this was the second time the Art Fest exhibition was held.
“The first time was three years ago, but it was quite small. Now it is going to be held over two weekends with live music.

“We have more than 120 pieces of art that we are exhibiting. It is quite busy that I would say more than 500 people are seeing the art.”

Anderson said despite people appreciating the art, it has been difficult to sell it.

“People appreciate the art but they do not always have the funds to actually contribute or purchase art, but they really appreciate that someone is showing what they can do.
