Following the half-time break, Sundowns wasted no time in pilling the pressure of United and they were rewarded when Peter Shalulile pounced after Matsatsantsa defenders failed to deal with him.

Substitute Webber’s effort was spilled by Onyango and Jones followed up with a tap-in as Matsatsantsa make the score 2-1.

Eleven minutes later, midfielder Teboho Mokoena equalized for United following a sublime free kick.

United kept on threatening to score a third goal but the Sundowns defence held firm to ensure that their unbeaten start to the season continued.

The final score was 2-2 as Mokoena won the Man of the Match award after putting up some great performances on the night including an equaliser.

United remains fourth on the log with 19 points from 12 games while Downs sits on top with 27, having played a game less.
